AI Composer Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to music created using the AI Composer on WeAD SoundChains—i.e. tracks generated from your text prompts (title, style, lyrics) by our AI music generation service. It is aligned with industry practices for AI-generated music (including policies such as Suno's). For music you create using Chord Studio or the Virtual Keyboard (where you design the melody and progression), see our Chord Progression Policy.

2. Your Input (Submissions)

You must only submit content (lyrics, titles, style descriptions, prompts) that you have the right to use. By submitting, you represent that: (a) you own or have obtained all necessary rights to use that content; (b) it does not violate any law or third-party rights; and (c) no additional licenses or payments are required for us (or our providers) to use it to generate outputs. Do not submit material that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property, or that is defamatory, illegal, or otherwise prohibited under our Terms of Service.

3. Prohibited Content and Use

You must not use the AI Composer to generate or direct the generation of output that:

• Infringes any intellectual property or other rights of any party
• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents the creator of the output
• Promotes violence, illegal activity, or harm to minors
• Contains unsolicited advertising, spam, or malware

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We reserve the right to refuse or remove any content that we deem in our sole discretion to violate this policy or our Terms.

4. Ownership and Rights in AI-Generated Output

Paid / credit-based use: When you generate music through the AI Composer using paid credits or an eligible subscription, we assign to you our rights in that generated output (to the extent we own them), so you may use it for personal and commercial purposes in line with this policy and our Terms.

Free or trial use: If you use the AI Composer on a free or trial basis, you may use the output only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes, and you must give attribution to WeAD SoundChains (and, where applicable, to our AI provider) when you share or display the music.

Lyrics: You own the lyrics you write. If the lyrics are from someone else, you must have their permission. You are responsible for ensuring your lyrics do not infringe third-party rights.

No uniqueness guarantee: Due to the nature of AI and machine learning, outputs may not be unique; similar inputs may produce similar or identical results for other users. Output generated for another user is not your content.

5. License You Grant to Us

By using the AI Composer, you grant WeAD SoundChains a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your submissions and the generated output as necessary to operate, promote, and improve the service (e.g. hosting, sharing, marketplace, reels, and improving our systems). This includes the right to identify that the output was generated via our service where relevant.

6. Commercial Use

Subject to the "Ownership and Rights" section above: if you have generated output under a paid/credit-based tier and we have assigned rights to you, you may use that output for commercial purposes (e.g. streaming, sales, sync, NFT minting and sale on our marketplace), provided you comply with these policies and our Terms. You may not use the service or its outputs to build a competing product or to train other AI/ML models without our written permission.

7. Third-Party AI and Attribution

Our AI Composer may use third-party AI music generation technology. Your use of the output may be subject to that provider's terms where applicable. When required (e.g. for free-tier use), you must provide appropriate attribution as stated in this policy and on the Platform.

8. Disclaimer

AI-generated output is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that any output is free of third-party rights (including copyright). You are responsible for your use and distribution of the output and for obtaining any additional clearances if needed. We are not liable for claims arising from your use of AI-generated music.

9. Copyright and DMCA

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA-compliant notice to the contact address we publish for legal/copyright matters. We will process valid notices in accordance with applicable law and may remove content and take action against repeat infringers.

10. Changes

We may update this AI Composer Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised, and continued use of the AI Composer after changes constitutes acceptance.
