1. Acceptance

By accessing or using WeAD SoundChains ("Platform", "we", "us") at soundchains.org, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

WeAD SoundChains provides AI-powered music creation (AI Composer), chord progression and virtual keyboard tools (Chord Studio / Hybrid Composer), community sharing, reels, and a marketplace for buying and selling music (including as NFTs). Use of AI generation may be subject to credits or fees as described on the Platform.

3. Account and Eligibility

You may need to register (e.g. email or wallet) to use certain features. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform; users under 18 should have parental consent. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to: (a) upload or generate content that infringes others' intellectual property or rights; (b) create or share illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory content; (c) impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation; (d) circumvent security, rate limits, or access controls; (e) use the service or outputs to build competing products or train other AI models without our written permission. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Intellectual Property and Content

Your content: You retain ownership of lyrics and other original content you submit. You grant us a license to use, store, and display your content as needed to operate the Platform (e.g. hosting, sharing, marketplace, reels).

AI Composer outputs: Subject to our AI Composer Policy, outputs generated by the AI Composer are governed by that policy (including permitted use and attribution).

Chord / user-created music: For music you create using Chord Studio or Virtual Keyboard (melody and structure by you, with AI assistance), see our Chord Progression Policy.

6. Payments and Credits

Credits, subscriptions, or one-time payments may be required for certain features. Fees are as displayed on the Platform. Refunds are handled according to our payment provider terms and any specific refund policy we publish. We may change pricing with reasonable notice where required by law.

7. Marketplace and NFTs

Listing, buying, and selling music (including as NFTs) are subject to these Terms and any additional marketplace rules. You are responsible for the accuracy of listings and for complying with applicable law. We do not guarantee the enforceability or value of any NFT or on-chain transaction.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform and all content are provided "as is". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will not infringe third-party rights. AI outputs may not be unique and may resemble outputs for other users. Use at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeAD SoundChains and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated via the Platform or email where appropriate.
