Chord Progression & User-Created Music Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to music created when you design the melody, chords, or progression using our tools—including:

• Chord Studio (Hybrid Composer): chord progressions and melodies you build, which may then be sent to our AI (WeAD Agents) for full-track generation
• Virtual Keyboard: melodies and notes you play, which may be sent to our AI for full-track generation
• WeAD AI Agents: the full-track audio generated from your chord progressions or keyboard input

Because the musical structure (chords, melody, rhythm) originates from you, we treat your rights in this content more like "user-created" music, while still recognising that the final audio may be produced with AI. 2. Your Creative Input

You are responsible for the chord progressions, melodies, and any lyrics or titles you provide. You represent that: (a) you own or have the right to use that input; (b) it does not infringe any third-party rights; and (c) it is not illegal, defamatory, or otherwise prohibited under our Terms of Service. Do not submit material that violates copyright, trademark, or that is harmful, obscene, or discriminatory.

3. Ownership of Your Music

Your progression and melody: The chord progressions, note sequences, and melodic ideas you create in Chord Studio or on the Virtual Keyboard are yours. You retain ownership of that creative input.

Full-track output (WeAD AI Agents): When our AI generates a full-track recording based on your chords or keyboard input, we assign to you (subject to your compliance with these policies and our Terms) the rights we hold in that generated recording. You may use it for personal and commercial purposes—including sharing on the Platform, posting to Reels, listing and selling on our Marketplace, and minting/selling as an NFT—provided you comply with this policy and our Terms.

Credits: Use of WeAD AI Agents may consume credits or be subject to fees as shown on the Platform. Your rights in the output are not reduced by the fact that the final audio was generated with AI.

4. Permitted Use

Subject to the "Ownership" section above and our Terms, you may:

• Store and manage your tracks in My Library and use them across the Platform
• Share your music to the community feed
• Create Reels using your tracks
• List and sell your music on the WeAD SoundChains Marketplace (including as NFTs)
• Use your music for personal or commercial projects (e.g. streaming, sync, releases), with appropriate attribution where we or our AI providers require it

You may not use the Platform or these tools to generate content that infringes others' rights, is illegal, or is otherwise prohibited under our Terms or this policy. You may not use the service or outputs to build a competing product or to train other AI/ML models without our written permission.

5. License You Grant to Us

So we can operate the Platform, you grant WeAD SoundChains a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your chord progressions, input, and the resulting full-track output as needed to provide the service (e.g. hosting, community feed, reels, marketplace, NFT metadata). We may also use this content to improve our systems and to identify that the music was created on WeAD SoundChains where relevant.

6. Prohibited Content

You must not create, upload, or share content (including via Chord Studio or Virtual Keyboard) that: infringes intellectual property or other rights; is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, hateful, or discriminatory; impersonates others; or promotes violence or illegal activity. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Marketplace and NFTs

When you list or sell your chord/keyboard-originated music (including as NFTs) on our Marketplace, you are responsible for the accuracy of your listings and for complying with applicable law. Your ownership and rights in the music are as set out in this policy; the sale or transfer of an NFT or other asset is governed by our Terms and any additional marketplace rules.

8. AI Assistance and Attribution

Our WeAD AI Agents assist in turning your chords and melodies into full productions. Where we or our AI providers require attribution (e.g. "Created with WeAD SoundChains" or similar), you agree to provide it when you use or distribute the music outside the Platform where reasonable.

9. Disclaimer

Output generated with AI may not be unique; similar inputs might produce similar results for other users. We do not guarantee that any output is free of third-party rights. You are responsible for your use and for obtaining any additional clearances. We are not liable for claims arising from your use or distribution of your music.

10. Changes

We may update this Chord Progression Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised. Continued use of Chord Studio, Virtual Keyboard, or WeAD AI Agents after changes constitutes acceptance.
